Stay-a-While in Scribner | A Small Town Christmas
Saturday, November 28, 2026
Downtown Scribner, Nebraska
Festivities begin at 4:30 PM | Christmas Parade at 6:00 PM
Who says you need a Hallmark movie when you've got Christmas magic right here in Scribner?
After celebrating our Grand Opening and Small Business Saturday from 10 AM–3 PM, we invite you to stick around and experience A Small Town Christmas, hosted by the Scribner Chamber of Commerce!
Here's what's happening downtown:
4:30 PM: Gather near the old hotel and giant Christmas tree for a cozy bonfire, s'mores, live music, and Christmas caroling.
6:00 PM: Watch downtown come alive with the Small Town Christmas Parade! Keep your eyes peeled because Grounded Grace will be joining the parade!
Approximately 6:45 PM: Head to the Scribner Firehall for a chili feed, a visit with Santa, and photos courtesy of a photographer sponsored by the Scribner Chamber of Commerce.
And here's a little extra Christmas magic: a filming crew will be capturing the festivities for Scribner's upcoming community commercial, expected in spring 2027!
Make a whole day of it! Shop small at Grounded Grace, explore our wonderful little town, grab some s'mores, enjoy the parade, and celebrate the season with the community.
Small-town shopping. Small-town Christmas. Big-time memories.
We can't wait to celebrate with you, both in the store and on the parade route!
